    Arsenal a challenge?

    Really? Laughing

Good luck either way and I suggest you develop Ramsey very well, he's the only player in the game with a -10 potential, that's the best you can get.

    ARSENAL 3-0 NEWCASTLE UNITED

After drawing 1-1 with Manchester City, Arsenal managed to bounce back with a 3-0 victory over Newcastle, despite the absence of Robin Van Persie.

At the beginning of the match Arsenal was already threatening Newcastle, and the breakthrough came at the 18th minute, Marouane Chamakh was given a pass near the box, he made a great first touch,
managed to turn around, and smashed it into the top corner. He was delighted to score that goal, because it was his first goal of the season.

Arsenal continued to dominate and attack, then at the 27th minute Gael Clichy gave a great cross into the box, and Bakary Sagna was there to score the header to make it 2-0.

And just 2 minutes later, Marouane Chamakh got the ball near the box once again, dribbled past a defender, and smashed it into the net, it was his second goal and Arsenal's third.

in the second half Newcastle United tried desperately to score and pull at least one goal back, but they didn't succeed.

A good solid win for Arsenal.

    RUBIN KAZAN 0-5 ARSENAL

Arsenal's first game of the Champions League led them against Rubin Kazan, who they completely destroyed!

Arsenal started off with a goal in the 9th minute already, with a shot from Fabregas, which deflected off Chamakh and went into the net.

20 minutes later, Samir Nasri got the ball 30 yards from goal and scored an amazing goal, which will surely be one of the top 10 goals of the year contenders.

then just 7 minutes later, Fabregas dribbled past 2 defenders on the wing, gave a low cross in and Chamakh was there to score it from close range.

In the beginning of the second half, Arsenal had a free kick, Cesc Fabregas took it and gave a good cross into the box, where Arturo Vidal was and he managed to score a good header, which was his first goal of the season.

Arsenal managed to win the very important derby match against Tottenham.

In the 16th minute of the game, Samir Nasri gave a brilliant through ball to Marouane Chamakh who was one on one with the goalkeeper but managed to put it in the back of the net calmly.

Arsenal kept attacking though, and in the 36th minute, Chamakh gave a great lobbed through ball to Romelu Lukaku, who scored his first goal for Arsenal, when he was one on one with the keeper.

I haven't made reports for a few games:

we beat West Brom in the league cup by penalties after FT ended 1-1(yes I know that's poor, but I was resting alot of players)
And we drew 0-0 with Stoke in the League (I know, also poor)

But now to the report of our game vs Valencia:

    ARSENAL 1-0 VALENCIA

Arsenal's second Champions League game took them against Valencia at the Emirates. A draw was predicted at the start of the match but Arsenal managed to win the game.

Arsenal dominated the game for the most part, they were looking for a goal and had several chances, before the breakthrough came at the 20th minute, Cesc Fabregas's shot was blocked but it bounced to Carlos Vela who scored from close range to give Arsenal the lead.

    Arsenal FM career Carlos-vela-festejando-un-gol-con-arsenal

Valencia had more chances in the second half but Arsenal held on and got the important victory.

This match also saw the return of Robin Van Persie, who has finally recovered from his injury ( yippee )

A good and important victory for Arsenal, which put them in first place in their group.

MOTM: Cesc Fabregas - 1 assist

Arsenal's next game is an away game against West Ham in the league.

    WEST HAM 1-3 ARSENAL

    ARSENAL 1-0 CHELSEA

YEEEAAAHHH I'M SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW yippee yippee yippee

Arsenal were up against current number 1 team in the league, and they managed to get a REALLY important win!

The game was very even, both team had lots of chances but Arsenal was the side that had the better chances, they didn't manage to score though, in the first half.

But things changed in the second half, in the 74th minute, when Bakary Sagna gave a free kick from his own half straight to Chamakh, who made a brillian first touch that got him past John Terry
and smashed the ball into the net near the front post.

    Arsenal FM career Marouane-chamakh-arsenal

Things got very hard for Arsenal though in the 86th minute, when Arturo Vidal picked up his second yellow card and got sent off, now Arsenal just had to hang on for a few minutes.

In injury time though, John Terry tackled Robin Van Persie from behind and also got sent off, so the match ended 10 vs 10.

Arsenal managed to hang on and their fans and the players themselves will surely be delighted about this win.

    SCHALKE 1-2 ARSENAL

Arsenal were up against a very strong Schalke side, and managed to win it.

The first half was quite boring, both teams had some chances but none of them were too dangerous. However in the 36th minute Mario Gavnarovic got sent off.

Right in the start of the second half, Arsenal won a penalty after Cesc Fabregas was tackled in the box. Arturo Vidal scored the penalty and gave Arsenal the lead.

But in the 67th minute Christoph Metzelder scored a great header from a corner, and all was even once again.

But Arsenal didn't want to settle for a draw, and in the 75th minute, Cesc Fabregas scored a fantastic free kick which gave Arsenal the win.

Carlos Vela has been brilliant recently and scored 5 goals and gave 2 assists in 3 games

    West Brom 0-2 Arsenal

Carlos Vela was on top form in this match and scored a brace for Arsenal.

    Arsenal 5-0 Peterborough

Arsenal rested many key players in this match

Arturo Vidal opened the scoring, Romelu Lukaku scored the second goal and Carlos Vela scored a hat-trick to make it 5-0.

    Bolton 0-2 Arsenal

Cesc Fabregas opened the scoring with a MAGNIFICENT free kick, Robin Van Persie ended his goal drought to make it 2-0.

    ARSENAL 2-1 SCHALKE

Schalke started off really well, taking the lead thanks to Klaas-Jan Huntelaar scoring a close range volley in the 16th minute.

Arsenal were struggling until Robin Van Persie got the ball in the box, took the ball forward leaving behind a defender and finishing well from a tight angle to make it 1-1.

Just 2 minutes Bakary Sagna ran forward with the ball, gave a low cross in for Marouane Chamakh to score and make it 2-1.

After that though, Schalke started playing very aggressively, Peer Kluge getting sent off in the 45th minute after a reckless tackle on Cesc Fabregas.

and later in the second half they injured both Robin Van Persie, who is going to be out for 4 weeks Mad and Bakary Sagna, who's going to be out for 1 week.

    Arsenal 1-0 Aston Villa

Aston Villa proved to be quite a challenge for Arsenal, but in the 46th minute, Marouane Chamakh scored when he was 1 on 1 with the goalkeeper, which gave Arsenal the important win. Also a very funny thing: Aston Villa got 2 red cards in the 86th minute, first to Richard Dunne because of a reckless two footed tackle, and then Luke Young got a second yellow for protesting.

    Arsenal 3-0 Everton

Arsenal destroyed Everton, thanks to goals from Laurent Koscielny, who scored thanks to a good cross from the corner, Jack Wilshere, who scored a beautiful curled shot outside of the box and thanks to an unfortunate Sylvain Distin own goal

The game was very exciting, with both teams having numerous chances, but Manchester United got aggressive and they injured Emmanuel Eboue in the 16th minute, who had to come off, Bakary Sagna who had just recovered from an injury came on to replace him, but he was injured too in the 63rd minute!! he is now out for 5 weeks, while Eboue is out for 10 days...

In the late minutes of the game Manchester United started attacking more and more, Arsenal were under pressure and Manchester United had a real chance is the 87th minute, when Anderson got through Arsenal's defense, was 1 on 1 with the keeper, but he hit the post!

Arsenal were very lucky today, but they will surely be very happy about this important win!

Vidal is really good, he helps the defense alot if played as a CDM, but he can also help offensively if played as a CM. He's got a pretty good shot and he's great at heading. His passing is very solid aswell, the only bad thing about him is he can sometimes be quite aggressive with his tackles.
