Spot on. He had 7 stones on his window ledge, these represented the 7 horcruxes(Apparantly Tom had strong feelings towards the number 7). Also he did have a picture of the horcrux cave pinned onto his wall. The box of stolen items also represented the horcruxes because he stole these off the orphans he bullied, which is a sort of contrast to how he killed people and required an item to create a horcrux.Jay wrote:Cam, I thought it might have been a trick question
And Jord, does he have a yo-yo and some other things that he stole from kids in the orphanage? There could be 7 of them or something so they could each represent a Horcrux? Also, I think I remember him having a picture of the Horcrux cave, not 100% sure on that one though...

Re: Harry Potter Series
Gryffindor values bravery, daring, nerve, and chivalry
Hufflepuff, founded by Helga Hufflepuff, is the most inclusive among the four houses, valuing hard work, patience, loyalty, and fair play rather than a particular aptitude in its members
Ravenclaw values intelligence, knowledge, and wit. Its emblematic animal is the eagle, and its colours are blue and bronze
Slytherin house values ambition, cunning and resourcefulness
What each house values btw

Re: Harry Potter Series
I was thinking, you know you get those Harry Potter pages on Facebook like "Only Neville Longbottom can go into a battle wearing a cardigan and still look badass" kinda things?
They always have quizzes and stuff, and people always answer and put the first letter of a house next to their answer, and then the admin will say "10 points to _______" when someone gets the right answer...do they just decide themselves what house they are in, because let's be honest, who would choose to be in Hufflepuff?

Well it has the qualities that lure them to the dark magic, ambition, ruthlessness etc. But not all those in Slytherin turn bad, Snape, Slughorn and Tonks (I think) were all in Slythern

You know your stuff, and I think Slughorn was the head, not sure when.

Tonks was in Hufflepuff, but I agree with what you're saying, Slytherin also favours pure-blood wizards.

Gryffindor isn't always for good, brave people either. Peter Pettigrew is a fine example.

Re: Harry Potter Series
Chances are Peter met James, Sirius and Remus on the train to Hogwarts and instantly admired them.
James boasted on the train about how Gryffindor was the house to be in, so he probably asked the Sorting Hat (a bit like Harry) to be put in Gryffindor. Should have been a Slytherin though, he was a cunt.

Slytherin and Ravenclaw sound the best from Seans description. So one of those.

Re: Harry Potter Series
I like Snape, Sirius and Remus, shame that Remus wasn't in it a bit more.
Who do you think would win in a duel, Remus Lupin or Severus Snape?

Re: Harry Potter Series
Snape, he's probably the 3rd most powerful wizard, I dont think Remus would be that powerful, I'd say the Ware-wolf thing would leave him quite weak,

I love Sirius, was gutted when Bellatrix killed him.
And Snape vs Lupin? Snape, he's been on the dark side- bet he knows some nasty shit, even if Lupin taught DATDA.

Snape would probably beat Remus. But Remus was always said to be pretty badass.. Besides Voldy and Dumbledore 3rd is probably between him and Bellatrix.

Re: Harry Potter Series
He got a shitload of help along the way? I mean he had one of the Deathly Hallows in his possession for a good 7 years, got taught the patronus by Remus at an early age and 'found' snapes book of extremely powerful spells and potions. We all know in a one-on-one duel Hermione would win.

Re: Harry Potter Series
I'd say Harry's a pretty good wizard yeah, but he did get lucky.
Harry probably knows how to pull off some spells Hermione doesn't though- and vice versa. But Harry could just use sectumsempra.
Goblet of Fire on ITV1, Saturday: 18:10.

Re: Harry Potter Series
Speaking of the Goblet of Fire, Alastor Moody in his prime as an Auror would defeat most wizards in the world.
