It's pronounced Tharagotha like you said.

Spain pronounces it th, but I think Latin America says z.

Re: La Liga 11/12
Nice. I knew some Spaniards said it like that but I asked because I thought it may have been a regional thing, like Catalonia/Basque/Madrid .
Or is it? are they in a distinct part of the country accent wise?
So their name is Tharagotha? I think theyre now one of my squads. Are they in primera stll this year?

Well in Castillian Spanish (the normal Spanish that is being used) it's pronounced as 'th' but in Catalan, Zaragoza is pronounced as it's written over there.. and yes unfortunately they're still in La Liga.

Indeed, but even then it's not like American zed, it's like 'eZthe' depending on the individual...SBSP wrote:Spain pronounces it th, but I think Latin America says z.
I though Southern Spain (Andalucia) don't say zed as 'th'?

First press conference of the season was taken by Pep today
Says the priority is striker but would like Cesc too, Alexis Sánchez is ideal because of his versatility and work ethic and that there's room for Cesc AND Thiago.

There's plenty of room for Cesc...on the bench.

Re: La Liga 11/12
A new forward is very much needed. Villa and Pedro hit a major slump last season because they were completely drained with no back-up player looking good enough to replace them. Bojan is Roma bound and Jeffrén is probably on his way so only Afellay is there to back-up 3 forward positions(plus Kiko Femenia from the B squad and Iniesta can be moved there in an emergency)

The only thing Barca need is depth. They are wonderful at every position but they don't have a huge bench like Real Madrid.
