Injury woes for AFC Liverpool

Every AFC Liverpool fans' worst nightmare was confirmed when the club received the results of Luke Powell's knee scan.
The Scouse Sensation has been in top form this season, but now faces being sidelined for 2 to 3 months due to strained knee ligaments, suffered in the recent clash against Rochdale Town.
Manager James Davies has had this to say: "It's a massive blow as Luke is a major part of how we play, but we have strength in depth and will do our best to get by without him."

After being knocked out of the North West Counties League Cup in a 3-2 loss away to Abbey Hey, we secured our place in the FA Vase final, and a trip to Wembley, after beating Larkhall 5-0 over 2 legs.





As you can see we are massive underdogs for the final, where we will play newly crowned champions of the Hereward United Counties Premier, St. Neots Town, who will be playing their football in the Evo-Stik League First Division South next season.

Can Luke Powell and the lads do the unthinkable and win the FA Vase?
