Except I don't care about Palermo.
I take that back. I hope they lose for Mauro.

The longer Germany keeps the spot the harder it will be for Italy to get it back.

Re: 2011/12 Europa League thread
The draw is in 30mins for Champions & Europa League
Birmingham could play any of the following
CD Nacional (POR)
FC Sion (SUI)
PFC Litex Lovech (BUL)
SV Ried (AUT)
FK Rabotnicki (MKD)
WKS Śląsk Wrocław (POL)
I dunno to be honest, if we were in the Prem i would be glad of this selection (all 'beatable' teams if we play well enough) but with 40odd games in the Championship i dont really want qualification

Past precedent makes it seem they might play somewhere else. The most recent example was Levadia Tallinn v Differdange. Levadia's Kadrioru Stadium seats only 5,000 but instead they played at the A. Le Coq Arena which seats 10,300.

Re: 2011/12 Europa League thread
I think the Fulham game is interesting due to the fact it's Martin Jol vs the man who replaced him at us, Juande Ramos. Come on Jol!

That would be better, especially as none of us Bluenoses have been to Euro competitions. I will still struggle to get a ticket though

Nacional are located in Funcal which is part of an island chain in southern Portugal and I think this tie could be moved to maybe 2 different locations. C.S. Maritimo is also located in Funcal and have a stadium that seats 8,922. S.C. Olhanense is also in southern Portugal with a stadium that seats 10,000.
