I've probably missed out obvious choices in that team, was pretty rushed..

Also yeah I'm biased with Rio and Vidic but I think they done well v Barca player in the final, but if they had that midfield in front of them they'd do better.. I'm giving Fabregas the position based on his ability, not previous performances v Barca.

Any way, I'm pretty sure Barcelona would still beat the team I put there.

They beat Arsenal 3-1 at home 11 v 11, Barcelona beat Arsenal 3-1 at home but needed an Arsenal player sent off for kicking a football in a football match.

Obviously that means Stoke would win.

Indeed. But in the highly likely event that a Stoke player gets sent off for kicking a football in a football match or making contact with Busquets' shoelace during the course of a tackle or any other similarly heinous act, the game would end in a draw.

Kompany gets way too much credit anyway, Mancini deploys the most defensive tactics since fucking Inter Milan at the Camp Nou. The holding players are the key to City's solid defence.

You can't be serious, surely.

Time and time again when City's backline gets breached he's always there, making the crucial interception. His positioning is fantastic. De Jong and Kompany are both crucial to City's defence, I'm not sure how anyone can suggest otherwise.

Not saying he's not very good or anything, just meant the holding players do a better job defensively for City imo; De Jong provides such a great shield that the number of times the City back-line is breached is very low anyway.
