I know which player i'd prefer. And as for Henderson, Liverpool could have looked abroad and signed much better players for less than half the price.

Overall looking back on the tournament i would say it is Hendersons fault, he was the main culprit of misplaced passes and long balls. Today it was not necessarily his fault.

Liverpool are trying to sign English players though. It's annoying because a young english player with Potential is going for 4x as much as a foreigner.

If it works though and Henderson becomes as good as he could, that 16million will look like nothing

Henderson is a good player, seen him play for Sunderland and he's stood out so I think it's really harsh to judge him playing in a team where the midfielders around him were SHITEEE, I mean he had fucking Mancienne for 2 games.

Not necessarily comparing the players. I'm comparing their prices and positions. Both are Centre Backs. Pique is by far the best Centre Back out of the 2, yet he cost £15 Million less and was of a similar age.
