I think £2000 is about the amount you should expect to be paying. You may get it cheaper but you need to keep calling around and negotiating the best deal possible. Try different cars, surprisingly some cars with bigger or more powerful engines can be cheaper.

Needs to be lowered.

Also, @ Forest, niiiice, good sum you got from the insurance then. What car you going to get?
