I saw the worst modified car ever outside my college today Laughing

04 plate navy Polo, pink VW sign, and 3 of the wheels were pink alloys. The one other wheel was a really nice wheel as it was from a Porsche. Stood out like a sore thumb though

One of the cars I was looking at buying at was covered in pink 'Powered by fairydust' stickers. Neutral

Obviously would have removed them if I did buy it.

I saw the most random one at college the other week on an old school mini, it said 'sell my Mini? I'd rather shove wasps up my arse'.

I have two car stickers on mine, a Leeds United badge in the bottom right of the rear window, and a Pacha Ibiza sticker in the top right. Old car had an Amnesia sticker on the back window, that was the only thing I didn't want to see go!

I just went for the casual City badge air freshener, Micah Richards walked in front of my car once and gave it a little smile. What a Face

I had a Leeds air freshener but a guy who I work with from Reading nicked it to take back with him, never got round to popping by the club shop for another. Even though I work just round the corner and would have plenty of time to go on a lunch break. Laughing Might go soon and have a look at the new shirt actually.

My mum went a bit crazy in the forest shop when I passed an surprised me with a few forest presents.

    Forest car keyring
    Forest tax disc holder
    Forest car mats
    Forest air freshner
    Forest window scarf

Laughing Didn't put them all in at once. Didn't really want a car looking like a 10 year olds bedroom!

Nah, not into driving a car to be honest. I'm more of a passenger seat man myself. Probably when I'm older, I'll have to drive, as it'll be a neccessity. It'd have to be a Rock 'N Roll vintage car though. Something like a Mustangt...or a classic BMW.

Uncle John from Jamaica wrote:So annoying when people just associate modifying cars with being 'chavvy'. The chavvy type stuff is where they don't put much care into it, i.e buy a cheap old Corsa, go to Halfords and buy a massive exhaust tip, some Lexus style rear lights and cheapo alloys, stick it all on and think they're the nuts.

Scott's car looks to have been done properly and tastefully, as in he's looked after the bodywork and chosen modifications that compliment each other, rather than just bolting on a few cheap bits of shite from Halfords and calling that job done.

    Brilliant post.

Here's are examples of chavvy modded Corsas.

Those shitty lights are fucking horrible, as well as the classic big spoiler. Also hate when people lower their car to a ridiculous height, what's the need to have it so low?

Your's is nice, Scott, I like it.

This one is a tad OTT to be honest. Looks stupid being lowered soo much. Looks a bit odd with the non painted wheel arches and stuff too.

Suuuuper chavvy imo. He's in some group who meet on a Friday evening and they go meet in their cars every weekend at different places. He paid £5,500 for that. All his mates commented on his pic on facebook and seemed to love it, I don't think it's a nice car atall but it dont half go! He has like racing shoes and everything Laughing The Official Car thread. Post Your Cars. - Page 6 279869 He's planning on spending £600 on a new exhaust for his current car too. It looks alright though, I wouldn't look at your car and think a chav drove it.

Smaller cars are easier to live with in England. Our roads are generally more narrower compared to the US and small hatchbacks are usually more agile. They tend to be cheaper to insure for young drivers too.

I share your sentiments. I'll even go a step further and say pretty much every car posted on here looks like it would be driven by a teenage girl, or a female in her early 20's.

It's just a culture thing though.

For example I've heard British people call my car a "Chelsea Wagon" or some shit like that because they thought it was a big car but in the US that's a mid sized car(I think)

The same with those Mopeds, In the US you get called a fag for riding one but in places like Japan and Italy there's gangs that revolve around Moped ownership and they terrorize people and shit.

If that happened here they'd be laughed out the park.

    It is what it is.

and because Americans are too fat to own small vehicles.

You have meant it as a joke, but it's not entirely one.

Also, the car industry in this country pushed these huge cars down our throat and we kept buying them silly.

My car got officially wrote off today. Been given £2600 for it. Was only expecting £1700!

We're gonna sue the company who's lorry it was though. The driver wasn't insured to drive the type of vehicle he was in.
