The difference is that while a lot of fans don't really rate Barry, several pundits in the media and a succession of England managers have all rated him highly. Some do. Personally, I think that he does still have some potential and could become a decent player but his fitness is poor and injuries are holding him back. I'd probably give him one more season. I think Anderson is painfully average, has a good touch and can play a good through ball but is quite shit defensively, he's an attackig midfielder and not a central one anyway. Probably going to some club like Valencia, La Liga would be good for him.
He's not an attacking midfielder.
