I'll tell you a joke, gooners voting Bergkamp as the best support striker ever on the old forum *Playmakers Best Premier League Team* - *RB* - ****Voting*** - Page 4 70955
what's so funny about that Neutral

Probably the small matter of him being rated above the likes of Maradona, I suppose.
kay, thought that was only about the Prem, he's definitly one of the greatest ever there.
After Maradona, Bergkamp would still be one of the best imo, better than Pele anyway if you want to call him a support striker.

Could you imagine if you were a professional pundit.

"Both players are very close in ability, however he has better hair so I would have to say he is better."

    Imagine if you were:

"He scored a goal because he kicked the ball into the net past the keeper"

This is so true that I want to cry.

Nothing. Bergkamp was a marvellous player. This guy simply says he is overrated because he is on wikipedia looking at his goals record when he had so much more to his game.

    Bergkamp > Maradona?
I never said that and while I think that Maradona is better, he is arguably the greatest player of all time. It is very hard to be better than Diego Maradona who was a brilliant player.

You said that he was one of the most overrated players ever and you could name 10 at the moment who are better than he was, when that is not true.

You irritate the fuck out of me.
What am I doing wrong right now? I am not stating the obvious, I am stating what I think. (Apart from in that sentence there).

Which of the two should I do, agree with everything and simply state the obvious, or voice my opinion.

I don't think so either, but the point I'm trying to make is that he deserves to be in the poll of the best 10-20 ever. I was never expecting him to beat Maradona or even Di Stefano, King Kenny or Zico, not even on the old forum.

    Between Dixon and Neville IMO

Who was better at their best? Neville was always thought of as a weak link by people outside of United, no wow factor to him at all. Mr.Neverletyoudown though.

If "King Kenny" doesn't think Kelly's better than Johnson why does he play the latter out of position on the left with Kelly being on the right?
