The team is starting to take shape now, it is a 4-4-2 formation if no-one was aware yet:

    --------------Schmeichel
    Neville

Interesting vote last night, which saw Glen Johnson take the lead, before Gary Neville came back from 4 votes down to win the voting.

Playmakers Best Premier League Team - CB'S - Nominees Best_r10

    PLEASE READ THIS - IMPORTANT

    1) Firstly, this is a new rule implemented, for a player to be nominated they must have made at least 100 Premier League appearences
    2) IMPORTANT: This is the more important rule, we're going to kill two birds with one stone here, so we are having a double vote. You will have two nominees today, instead of having two threads for the same position, so 2 nominations today. Then tomorrow, one vote in the poll and in your post you post your second vote. Which can't be for the same player.

My nominations today are: John Terry and Jamie Carragher

There will only be 10 places available on the poll. Also, joke voting doesn't work, as seen in the last poll Steve Finnan got one vote.

Titus Bramble. If you ignore his occasional lapses in concentration, he has been consistent for Ipswich, Newcastle, Wigan and Sunderland.

I'm not including Titus Bramble into the poll. So it's a waste of time voting him. I don't care if you're been honest.

Why make these if you aren't going to listen to peoples opinions.

If this is just polls for the top 4 in the PL then say so. Despite his obvious lapses in concentration, Titus Bramble has made over 250 PL appearances for 4 different clubs and has done really well.

    Jaap Stam and John Terry.

Edit: Stam doesn't have 100+ in the PL. Neutral

He has 80+ and it obviously isn't a joke nomination. Oh well.

Theres a difference between listening to peoples opinions and voting Titus Bramble seriously, if he was that good why hasn't everyone voted for him. He's a joke player.

The reason is because the majority of people who support PL teams support the top ones. Therefore they will vote for their favourites...

Need to stop children making threads like these if they aren't going to do it properly.

You're seriously telling me Titus Bramble is your serious vote? Even I included Jones in the last one either Johnson or Neville would of won. Also, whats wrong with big teams winning? Most good players come from good teams. It's like making a best possible WC team and arguing why do all the players come from the countries that are really big, then protesting that you need to have Honda in at centre-mid.

Generally the top ones are going to be the best anyway. Shame people have to just vote for the ones from their team though.

Like how Johnson almost won the RB vote because of the majority of Liverpool fans voting just because he's a Liverpool player Laughing

CB's is a hard one to judge, I don't know if Terry would make it, but I'd definitely put Carvalho in, probably Carvalho-Vidic think

I said the majority of Liverpool fans, not ALL.

Also, you know there's a large amount of truth in it, so again, stop trying to make me look like the bad guy.

People need to vote on actually how good they were, instead of how good they were for their clubs.

What's wrong with Steven Finnan? He was a brilliant full-back.

So basically, if the winner of th poll isn't up to your standards, it goes to second palce?
