Well it was a little shaky at times but Spain won again and managed to keep another clean-sheet. First few minutes were interesting, Venezuela pushed and harried Spain in possession quite well but as soon as Spain got Alonso dictating they settled.

Del Bosque said after the game he was disappointed that the players dropped off in the second-half more but it was similar against the USA, a lot of changes and it disrupted the flow slightly. Still a solid performance and vital for some players to get some minutes including Manu del Moral who played the second-half.

Villa looked full of confidence and lively and I really enjoyed Pedro's goal, nice passing and movement through midefield, hold-up play from Llorente and a one-two with Villa and goal.

Spain drawn in group with Serbia, Turkey and Belgium for UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
