My saying I think it is stupid to vote player you have never seen play is no different that someone saying they think Messi is better than Pele. While you are certainly entitled to your opinion, I personally disagree with you saying that you shouldn't post players who you have never seen live before.

I may have never watched Pele, but at the same time I have seen enough higlights to show that he was an incredible player and in my eyes, the best of all time.

Yes, I'm quite aware that that is an opinion. Frankly, it's one that there's no need for, and is unrelated to what the OP is asking.

You are entitled to do that. My opinion is not here to change your thought processes, I am just voicing that I find it rather foolish and nothing more. In my opinion watching hi-lights, and youtube clips or hearing people talk about him is not the same as someone that actually saw him play saying Pele is the best ever. If you feel that listing players you haven't see play is justified then good on you, I don't agree, nor will I ever agree and at the end of the day that is fine that we do not agree. That's the beauty of having differing opinions.

I assumed that when adding it. Any lists with simply 'Ronaldo', I will assmue they mean the Brazilian one.

To show that they want the Portuguese one, they have to show that with the full name. Why did his parents have to call him the name of another football legend?

It has to be sensible but.

Most of his choices are okay but it was just one or two. I wasn't sure if he was actually being serious or not.
