I will bump this thread. What do you guys think of Werder Bremen, everyone at the club is expecting big things, I think maybe 4th.

4th really? That would be quite an improvement over last season. They would basically need to be twice the team they were, which I'm not sure can come together in such a short time. Maybe, but I'd say 6th is a more realistic ambition for them? What are your thoughts on them this year? Some good names have been added. Ekici could be promising, Rosenberg back, Stevanovic?

BTW, Ribery injured his ankle in training Sunday. But they are only expecting him to hopefully be out for just a week.

TBF they only have Borussia Mönchengladbach, they would be fine for the first week without him.

It is obviously so much higher than last year, but I think they could. Mainz and Hannover were luckly, the poll is based on last year, the lost Frings (No Biggie) I would say 4-5 but many other teams will be fighting for it.

It is a scare, if he is out for a long period again it will be bad for Bayern. I think both Robben and Ribery fit they can dominate, but even if one goes they will not. They could still win with just one, but the score and create to much.

I think his transfer came to £15M, I hope he's fit this season. He only made about 15 appearances last year.

In an interview he admitted he's not fit yet, but he and Usami have been working extra to try and get their fitness ready for the season.

They have a few midfileders looking to step in. They signed Gundogan (sp?) he played against Schalke and looked good. Only time will tell.

Turns out that Ribery's ankle injury was more than a sprain, there's ligament damage. He has to wear a cast for 5 more days before they can even be able to assess the injury further.

It seems like Zidan is scoring in every friendly match for Dortmund. But they are all pretty much tap ins.
