I didn't know the rivalry between the two clubs was that bad. It seems to be even bigger than HSV x St. Pauli

For the inane reason that they partner with Rangers, and nothing more.

Think it has to do with the fact that they just don't play St. Pauli that much anymore.

Borussia Dortmund.
But alot depends on how well Gundogan replaces Sahin, and they should seriously push the boat out for Shaqiri.

What's with Bayern Munich fans hating Neuer? What has he done?

Re: Bundesliga 11/12
Actually its because he copied Oliver Kahn's celebration, when he and Schalke 04 won against Bayern Munich, to provoke the Bayern fans.

Gladbach snap up Japanese talent
Yuki Otsu (right) has won one cap for the Japan U-22 national side
Mönchengladbach - Borussia Mönchengladbach have signed Japanese talent Yuki Otsu from J-League outfit Kashiwa Reysol.
The 21-year-old attacker has agreed a three-year deal at the Borussia Park, lasting until 2014.
Eberl delighted
Borussia sport director Max Eberl was delighted by the acquisition: "Yuki Otsu is a player for the wide attacking positions. He made a good impression as a trialist and we're very pleased to have reached an agreement with his club for the transfer."

Re: Bundesliga 11/12
I saw a bit of Dortmund playing in a pre-season tournament yesterday and today. The two new signings, Guendogan and Perisic, and the promotion from their youth team, Leitner (plays like Sahin) all looked really good.

Re: Bundesliga 11/12
They are, in fact the Midfield depth is huge, 8-10 players fighting for "Sahin's Spot" and the two men at the back are rock solid, Barrios may score another 15 or so goals this season. Still doubt that they will win.

Hummels and Subotic are both class defenders would love to see them both playing for a world class team. Hopefully Dortmund can become one. I've always liked them.

Re: Bundesliga 11/12
You say 8-10 players fighting for Sahin's spot but I think it's really down to 2, those being Guendogan and Leitner. The rest don't really provide what Sahin did, and they would mirror the play of Bender.

Flippin' Guendogan. One standout season for Der Club and he splits.

Re: Bundesliga 11/12
It will be interesting to see who finishes higher out of Mainz & Hannover, both had terrific seasons.
Bayern Munich will be favourites, even if they finished 6th they would be. Borussia may not be as good as last season, Bayer are always pretty decent. Then 4-5 teams fighting for what is now 4 CL Spots.

If Bayern fix their shitty defence they will finish top. If not; Neverkusen.
