Re: Serie A 11/12
I'm going to try and watch the BPL, Serie A, La Liga, Portugese and Dutch league this year. Not so sure on the dutch league but I want to watch Porto more this year

Re: Serie A 11/12
The Eredivisie is a good league, I prefer PSV and AZ. And good choice, Porto will be quite dominant this season (If the manager gets it right)
And apparently Fiorentina are looking into Aquilani if Montolivo leaves.

What do you make of Napoli next year, do you think they'll keep Cavani, Lavezzi and Hamsik?

Re: Serie A 11/12
I think that with the 5 attackers in Inler, Cavani, Maggio, Hamsik & Lavezzi it will be one of the best attacks in the League, if not Europe. However, defence is slacking, fairly old players, and the ones who are not old are not the best. Maybe a top 3 finish again, probably 4th favourites out of everyone. And maybe 2 will leave next season. I say 4th.

Re: Serie A 11/12
Well they obviously they will keep Cavani since he just signed permanently for them 2 months ago. Hamsik signed a long term deal in 2010 IIRC and I'm not sure about Lavezzi. I read somewhere he wants to go but I also read he wants to stay,, he has 4 years left on his contract so it will cost alot for the club that want to buy him. I'm sure they'll make afew more signings throughout the summer aswell. I really hope Cavani will have another good season. As for their chances well, I repeat if they make a few more signings I think they will reach the CL. Juventus are really going for it and I think Udinese will look for new signings to replace Sanchez aswell.

How do you think the top 3 will look like?

Re: Serie A 11/12
I'm just curious to see how this Pastore saga will end up. Palermo are demanding to much, if they were in Udinese's position then they could demand loads but they finished mid table.

Re: Serie A 11/12
Said it in the Copa America thread, if Pastore and Palermo wanted to prove that he is worth 40M then that was the chance to show it.

Yeah but they don't actually want to sell him so it's a win win either way.

I don't have ESPN, Eurosport used to do weekly round-ups of all the European Leagues, do they still do that?

Re: Serie A 11/12
Udinese pissed me off. Sold three of best players but with average replacement.
Danilo can't match Zapata
Barreto is a beast but not like Alexis Sanchez
Inler - They might as well bring back Candreva.

Re: Serie A 11/12
udinese will embarras themself in champions league
i do not see why pastore would leave because we finish midtable. he will only leave if one of the biggest clubs try to sign and has 3+1 year left on contract, we can sell for 100 million. he will not leave for those little shit clubs like malaga and lazio
we will have better team in this season without those shockingh performances by centre defence and sirigu we would of been much closer to top 4 in last season. we have not lose any of our best players yet and if it stays like this we will be amazing already made so many good young signings in this window im very excite for next season

As long as Siniša Mihajlović is the Fiorentina manager they will not finish high up. He is a good manager but his tactics are all wrong, he should of been fired after last season

Re: Serie A 11/12
Wouldn't be a bad bet either, Cavani may do well. Pazzini has been ruined after being sold so he is out of my option, an outsider would be Palermo's Miccoli or Di Natale who won it last season.

I agree.
Macheda was under massive pressure, they wanted him to be their new cassano

Re: Serie A 11/12
Very true, it wasn't fair, and a bad move as they were relegated. They may now be a Serie B team, selling their top class players, and even the average ones which means they may struggle.

Roma should be pretty solid. They are just about to sign GK Stekelenburg from Ajax as well, although I read that Ajax told them that they will have to offer more than their €5M for him.
