Spanish promotion playoffs Empty Spanish promotion playoffs

While one round of the Segunda Division is left the playoffs in the lower Spanish have started. I believe that promotion from the Segunda Division B (3rd level league) is the hardest to earn in all of football. This league has 4 groups of 20 teams each that are organized by location. In this league it is actually possible to be 38-0-0 in the regular season slip up in the playoffs and not be promoted. Also new for this year is a promotion playoffs to La Liga for the Segunda Divsion teams. Teams from 3th to 6th, except for reserve teams qualify.

Segunda Division playoffs (most recent season in La Liga listed)
    Granada (1975/76)
    Elche (1988/89)
    Celta de Vigo (2006/07)

    not yet qualified
    Valladolid (last year) 63 pts
    Xerez (last year) 60 pts

    Segunda B division playoffs;

Overall Championship playoffs (last La Liga season or relevant info)
    Sabadell (1987/88)
    Real Murcia (2007/08)
both promoted but still play each other for overall Segunda Division B championship

remaining teams in playoffs (2 qualify for a spot in the Segunda divsion)

Lugo (never in La Liga last Segunda Division 1992/93)
Eibar (never in La Liga last Segunda Division 2008/09)
    Sevilla Atlético (Sevilla's reserve team)
    Deportivo Alavés (2005/06)
Mirandés (never above Segunda Division B)
Badalona (never in La Liga last Segunda season 1967/78)
    Alcoyano (1950/51)

teams promoted to Segunda Division B (same as before)
    Marino (never above Segunda B)
Villanovense (never above Segunda B founded in 1992)
    Valencia Mestalla (Valencia's reserve team)
Burgos (never above Segunda Division founded in 1994)
    Amorebieta (never above 4th division)
    Toledo (never above Segunda Division)
    Llagostera (never above 4th division)
    Andorra (never above Segunda B)
    Linense (never above Segunda Division)

Nah, there is a little town of just over 8,000 people in Spain called Andorra.

They were not really good this season. They were 9-19-10 in their group scoring 29 goals and letting 37 in. That was good enough for a 12th place finish in a 20 team group.
