With five games to go this is quite impressive. Matt Tubbs has scored 37 goals for them so far this season so I wonder if he might be leaving for somewhere better for next year or stick with Crawley. Their current stats are 28-10-3 with 82 goals scored and 28 conceeded.CRAWLEY Town secured promotion to the league for the first time in their history by claiming the win they needed at Tamworth to secure the Blue Square Bet Premier title.
Two goals from the prolific Matt Tubbs and one from Charlie Wassmer meant Steve Evans’ men won 3-0 in front of 1,569 fans.
After midweek draws for Crawley and Luton, Reds were left needing three points to secure the title and league status next season - and Tamworth proved no obstacle.
Closest rivals Luton and AFC Wimbledon both won but it was irrelevant as Reds got the win they wanted and deserved.

Histon and Kidderminster Harriers were both deducted 5 points for breaching league regulations. This probably would not matter for Histon but currently this penalty is keeping Kidderminster out of the promotion playoffs.Dan wrote:Histon relegated from the Conference as well.

In fairness, they went bust didn't they?
Humm it could happen in our lifetime as they are only three promotions away from the football league. Although this year where they stand looks like they won't be moving up but they are not going down either.Lux wrote:Wealdstone FC for the Football League

Well it is cool you follow them and support the little guy for various reason because that does not always happen much. I would be interested what support any non-league teams from London had since people that live there obviously always have a premier league team or to around who is easy to support.Lux wrote:Weather130 wrote:Humm it could happen in our lifetime as they are only three promotions away from the football league. My personal interest is that geographically it's my local club, and my brother is playing for the youth side too.
Last season they were in the play off places and then did a Cardiff and collapsed out of the play offs with a few games left. This season it's not been as good for them but you never know next year....
I've got a few local teams at that level to cheer (Wealdstone, Harrow Borough, Borehamwood and Barnet who are in the Football League.....for now)
