It's 16 years from now! Libya is already hosting the African Cup of Nations in 2013! And Egypt is a very well developed country. The protesting isn't exactly gonna last 15 more years is it?

Who the hell knows? But if the vote was held today (which it obviously isn't), how could you vote for Libya in good conscience? You can't just assume that everything will be hunky dory there. It could go either way at this point. Libya could be the jewel of the Sahara by then, but it could just as easily be the next Somalia.

It's not bad if you stay in the resort. Outside of it though is nightmaric. A shopkeeper noticed a few guys outside is shop smoking crack, so he went out and joined them .

What? I go around the streets a lot in Egypt and it's not like that at all. It might not be fun for a tourist, but it's not "nightmaric" by any stretch of the imagination (with the exception of recent times due to lack of security).
