Re: Why England Will Win Euro 2008
Why do the English have a terrible habit of making stuff like this?
I mean this is not the first example, I saw something very similar for 2016, and Liverpool fans do it all the time. I don't remember any Atletico Madrid fans or Dutch fans or anything going around making similar stories.

Nah he's right, he wasn't predicting that, if you look at the link those names are on the side which is something different by someone else.

I'm sure this was a joke article. Maybe I'm thinking of something else.polska. wrote:Why do the English have a terrible habit of making stuff like this?

Oh, is the one in the OP a joke article?
I thought it was written way back in 2002 or something? I haven't actually checked it because I've read it in the past...
But the one for 2016 is real and RR posted some of Liverpool fans a while back too.

Re: Why England Will Win Euro 2008
some of the comments on this are priceless
-David Bentley of Arsenal is one to
watch. A brilliant all-round player and an entertainer as well. A long
term replacement for Bergkamp and a future England regular. Watch this
space!
Matthew Armitage, England
-Michael Tonge is the best talent in England. His price tag should be doubled.
Spaniad, England
One of the best prospects I've seen in recent years is none other than
Luke Rodgers of Shrewsbury Town.
Everyone saw him rip apart Everton last weekend, but not everyone will
know he does that almost every single week. If he can secure a move to a
big club, then there's no reason why he can't be an integral part of
any future England setup.
Jim, England
Sean Davis deserves a mention in this
list as a future England captain. Also, Alan Smith will be our best forward at the next World Cup.
