Unlikely....but possible.

We can beat the best teams...not necessarily with possession but I think we should all know by now that you don't need that to win a game of football.

We have some good players....if they play to their best then who knows...the problem is that getting the best out of these players, especially all together in the England team, has proved very hard.

Refereeing decisions are too.

It's easy to give a team who has more possession a game when decisions go their way....but that doesn't sit with me. Sure, doesn't mean we'd have won those games either but it leaves an annoying uncertainty.

Penalties too....obviously if you lose on penalties that's your fault but it's not really the same as losing in regular play.

Possession is important, obviously....but so are so many other parts of the game.
