Few years ago we played Thursday then SATURDAY LUNCHTIME AWAY TO CHELSEA... and if I remember correctly, we were away for the european game as well. So no, it's not always that. The problem with a 17:00 kick off is that people will struggle to get off work to make the game on time. This would lead to worse crowds.
Uefa should just schedule the games on tuesdays and wednesdays to alternative weeks to the Champions League.

That's shit. They've made sure it doesn't happen now, they plan fixtures way in advance which is why we've played on a Sunday so much and still are.
