ahlycotc's Career Mode Thread

I have to make three major decisions for my first Career.

1) Which mode? Player-Manager or Manager?
2) Which difficulty? Professional most likely until I get used to FIFA 11
3) Which team? I'm looking for a 4th division English club to build and promote to the very top. Rochdale is the team I choose all the time and will most likely choose again.

Use Oxford United on Professional then work your ways up the difficulties.

As a manager.

Ps. As a manager, is that just normal manager mode?

Yeah.

Virtual Player Mode
You control one player or the whole team (just like FIFA 10)

Player-Manager Mode
You control and manage the club and play with your VP at the same time. After a certain number of seasons, your VP retires and you act as manger only.

Manger Mode
Control and manage your club from start to finish (just like FIFA 10)

Does it have to be with your VP?

No, I think in FIFA 10 you choose one of the squad players as well. But I prefer VP.

I think you can create a player and use that player as well. This is for folks who don't want to spend time developing a player. You can just create a bran new player and make his ratings as awesome as you want right off the bat.
