why is that a bad thing? He has the speed to blow by anybody he doesn't need to do Ronaldo tricks and stuff. Don't see why calling him kick and run is an insult because it obviously has worked
Because it takes no skill to do, is not good to watch and is easy to shut down. Probably why he's been shit for months, easy to close him out of a game.
Being fast isn't a skill? haha blowing by the best defenders in the world isn't skillful? Scoring 3 goals against the European champs isn't skillful? Playing perfect crosses in the 2nd leg against the European Champs isn't skillful? And you're crazy it's amazing to watch or else no one, including myself would be making a big deal about it.
Past few seasons Walcott, Young, Lennon get hyped up for being fast wingers, Bale accomplished more this season then any of them will in 5 seasons, he blows them out of the water in every possible way. He is a picture perfect winger, he goes down the side and either crosses it in or finishes it himself, he is the definition of a winger and any team in the Prem would want him at this point. Ridiculous haters in this forum.
Can you see into the future?
Walcott - 20 goals/assists in 32 games this season.
Bale - 14 goals/assists in 35 games this season.
So tell me how Bale has blown him away this season, especially when Bale has started most those whilst Walcott has come off the bench a lot.fluffy_kittens wrote:Fine Shagger wrote:Yes. One takes athleticism to do, the other takes footballing talent and ability.
Look at the top dribblers in the world - every single one of them keeps the Bale close to them, when Bale tries that he gets found out as technically inept.
He is like 21! when he grows older and slower he will adapt much like Ryan Giggs. Bale still has mountains of potential which is the reason why basically every team in the world is interested in him at this point.
Where have you got the 'everyone in the world is interested in him'. The sun? Goal.com?
Walcott has better attacking players to work with then Bale does at Tottenham..we dont have a striker like RVP or players like Nasri/Arshavin
Yes fair enough, but he hasn't blown away those wingers in every single department has he? They have more assists and goals. Ok, let's ignore Walcott then.
A. Young - 20 goals/assists in 34 games. A better ratio then Bale. Now, he has worse team mates then Bale, what's the excuse there?
