    Wouldn't be seen as "fair" to win both awards unless that player (Not using Bale as an example) did a Messi or something.

    Doesn't make sense, but that's how it is.

    Nah, it's because they're not going on how well they've done.. the media have bigged up Bale so he's won it.. but they've also given a lot of credit to Wilshere so he gets young player (more deserved), if Bale was the best he should have won both, but he wasn't.
