You're comparing Bale to Giggs? Giggs had, has and always will have a much, much, much better dribbling technique than Bale.

Giggs is much more talented than Bale.

Bale - 14 goals/assists in 35 games this season.

Bale is a huge threat.. a lot overrated and a lot underrate.. he's not as talented as Giggs, no chance.. but he's still good at what he does and has a bright future, that said he doesn't deserve the hype he gets, and this award.

Why would it be a joke? He is faster then most players I don't think he was born that way, he worked hard his whole life, he wasn't even in the Tottenham team for some games last season and he continued to work hard.
