We won 2-1, so it wasn't bad.

It seems a little strange when someone is happy to go down, but to each his own I guess. Unless something very crazy happens I cannot see a reprieve happening this time.

Might also be able to post Three Bridges FC in here soon as well! Currently top of Sussex County FL. Division 1 one point ahead and with a game in hand. Not sure if only the league winners get promoted or not in that league though.

Re: Promotion and Relegation Thread
I'm not happy about being relegated, it's been 4 years since I've seen us play consistently well throughout a season and not battling relegation, but with all the stuff that's happened off the pitch, it could be worse.Weather130 wrote:It seems a little strange when someone is happy to go down, but to each his own I guess. And I've "known" we were going down since about October.

Yes the winners of the league does get promoted. Although that does depend if you have your ground finances in order. Crawley Down who won thde league last year are currently in the Isthmian League Division One South this season. They are currently in 17th place. bAlso this season Croydon Athletic resigned so the league has an empty spot that needs filled so things are looking go for you.

Re: Promotion and Relegation Thread
Here are some teams that could possibly be promoted by a playoff in their various league
promotion to Conference Nation: Nuneaton Town: was as low as the South Football League Division One Midlands in 2008
FC Halifax Town: formed in 2008 to replace Halifax Town AFC
Dartford: would be highest level ever
Welling United: The 2010–11 season was not a good one for them as the club had financial problems, nearly going bankrupt but lots of supporters chipped in and raised £90,000 for the club to pay off debts. Impressive that supporters would raise enough money to save a club in this situation.
Sutton United: highest level, most recent non league to beat a top division club in the FA Cup (1988/89 2-1 over Coventry City)
to Conference North/South
Lewes: 2007/08 Conference South champions
Chester: replaces Chester City
Bradford Park Avenue: lowest team remaining once in the top divsion
FC United of Manchester

Weather, you're a mad cunt, how many points do Mickleover have? (Northern Premier League)
Sky Sports say they're 19th on 40 points, Evo Stick app say they're 21st on 37 points.
But they both say the same games won/drew/lost.

If it has the games won/drew/lost, then you can easily figure out how many points they have.

Well earlier in the season Mickleover were deducted three points for fielding an ineligible player so they do have 37 points. 10-10-21 is about to go down unless Mickleover can beat 11th place Ashton United away.

Oh, Sky haven't taken the points deducted into account then, the cunts.
They can't stay up anyway. Unless the Northwich bollocks mean only 3 go down again.

I seriously hope that Blackpool win the play-offs and West Ham fail to go up, would be fucking hilarious. + Deserved for the money that they've splashed about. They've actually got like 12 strikers in their first team.

Scaynes Hill III are relegated to...
... Oh, wait a minute they are in last place in the lowest league in the English football pyramid. Anyways they are 2-0-19 with 16 goals for and 112 goals against.

Re: Promotion and Relegation Thread
Chester promoted to Blue SQ North.
Northwich, Chorley, Bradford and Hednesford in the play offs.
Northwich set to be kicked out of the Evo Stick league, if so, FCUM will have a play off spot.
Frickley, Chasetown, Mickleover and Burscough relegated. Depending on what happens with Northwich, Frickley may get a reprieve.
Ain't arsed about Evo Stick Div 1 N/S, apart from Skem bottling it.

Northwich can appeal as much as they want but since that takes time to get completely sorted out they will not be allowed to take part of the playoffs.

Shame. We could have played a part in stopping FCUM getting a play off spot if they weren't morons.

Three Bridges can win the league and promotion with a win on Tuesday night. If I'm not doing anything, and I can't think of anything I'm doing, I might pop along.
Oh wait, Barcelona vs Chelsea.
