Rafa Benitez or Kenny Dalglish.

Re: Rafa Benitez or Kenny Dalglish.
Tough one.
Problem is, I appreciate Rafa more because I witnessed what he'd done. If I was a little bit older and could remember Kenny's best years, then I think I'd vote him. But I can't, so I'm voting Rafa. Though I shouldn't, because Kenny's arguebly done more for us than Rafa.
No doubt the older generation such as Liverpoolfc for Ever, will vote Kenny.

Re: Rafa Benitez or Kenny Dalglish.
How is Benitez winning
Kenny Dalglish:
6 League titles, one FA Cup and 4 european trophies as a player.
3 League titles and two FA Cup's as a manager (4 years)
Rafa Benitez
2 European trophis as a manager and one FA Cup (6 years)
This should be a non contest...

Has to be Kenny for me. His style is more suited to how we play. Rafa will probably end up at Villa or City next season.

Considering it's aimed at Liverpool supporters I would imagine their performances for Liverpool far outweigh any other considerations?

I read it as asking who is the better manager overall.

And his 4 League cups in a row from 81 to 84 when he was a player and well he won the League and FA Cup as player manager.

Re: Rafa Benitez or Kenny Dalglish.
But i mean Dalglish deserves his chance to hopefully spend some cash in the summer and time to see how things go. I mean we all no Liverpool need to get better players for the team and the squad before we can totally judge him this time round.

Dalglish has been a manager for a lot longer than Benitez though.

Surely the club shouldn't determine the way football is played? It should be the manager that chooses the style.

Not being smart bud but it was from 85,91 in his first Liverpool spell bud just before someone tries to be cheeky And he was really only a player manager for like 2 season's
1985,86 and 86,87 season he only made 4 appearances after those season's.

It is down to the manager but what I was trying to get across is that our players only seem to be able to play one style of play. We lack world class players to be playing a variety of system's that are more suited to a European style manager like Rafa, who likes to influence a more continental style approach.

Yes as a manager yes although Rafa tried. But what that man did after Hysel and Hillsborough was just as much as any man has done for our club just like Shankly and Paisley and the likes before him as you will probably no bud. KING KENNY DALGLISH

Re: Rafa Benitez or Kenny Dalglish.
Maybe they should have sacked Fergie when it took him 3 to 4 years to win a trophy at United, and he spent big money back then and bought in 24 players before he won his first League title at United, and that does not include the youth he brought through in that time.Kuled wrote:wordEl_indian wrote:Dalglish 4 eva
But he got more than one full season, and i dont think he has done a bad job since.
