The Playmaker Fantasy Football Competition - ENTRIES CLOSED

Here is an idea shamelessly stolen from RedCafe RaWK.

OK, the idea is that we have a group of participants, 2, 4, 8, 16 or 32 ideally, and everyone picks a player from the world of football to go into their team until they have a squad of 14 (11 first teamers, 3 subs)

Once everyone has picked a team there will be a random draw, and teams will be put up against each other until we have a winner. The winner of each round will be decided by poll.

Question: Is it only Current active players or can you pick any footballer from any playing era?

By "put up against each other" do you mean a vote on forums to see who's best?

Also, what's the picking procedure, i.e.

Yes, there will be a vote for each round, and it's probably best that the order is done as you suggested.

Too late I'm afraid Theo, Santa Cruz was the 16th entrant, it isn't practical to do with more people than that.
