Christ your a whiney bunch of bastards, you didn't have a shot on goal...if you hadn't been so gutless in your performance it might of been different.

If I was an Arsenal fan, I'd be worrying more about the fact my team didn't have a single shot on goal than a red card that van Persie should've probably got for a different offence anyway.

I suggest you have a look through the archives on arsenal.com back to the walcott interview he clearly stated he ATTEMPTED to win a penalty.

Everytime we built up momentum to attempt a shot, the ref broke it up by whistling for ludicrous 'fouls'

Oh yes. It had nothing to do with the fact you could barely string three passes together without losing it for the majority of the game.. Rolling Eyes

No i think you will find that is an exaggeration everytime a '50-50' took place it was more like a 100-0 in barca favour because they had the ref to rely on if Arsenal won it.
What is this ref doing on the pitch?

Me, being an Arsenal fan am more worried about the games we've got coming up then the fact we got done by the best team in the world currently and one of the best ever.

    Each to their own though

Is that why your pass completion was only 71% of 199? With 24% overall possession? And that your highest passer, Fabregas (30) had less than every single Barca player bar Valdes?

    Because of the referee?

So, the fact that the manner of this defeat (after the Carling Cup Final as well) doesn't worry you at all?

Not to the extent people are saying it should, no. Always expected it to go that way, obviously not as bad as that. We lost, we've got just as important games coming up thick and fast and if we get back to playing how we know we can then we'll be in them both right to the end.

Either way he still admitted that he cheated and you can't blame the referee when your team attempts to cheat.

Then no team ever should complain about anything the ref does. Because every club has a catalogue of decisions that go for them too. Doesn't stop the fans placing blame.

Most clubs do not every club. What happened to the respect the ref campaign? I know I hate the referees we get but we don't dive to win penalties over it. Ask a fan of every team we have played this season and I doubt you'll find any that thought we dived during the entire game.

I personally think managers influence divers. Before Grayson came in we had Becchio rolling around on the floor each game but now he only does it when he gets an elbow to the face or whatever. Some players will always dive no matter who is in charge though.

    Just my opinion.
