What does that make Scotland? Genuine question, think if people from Colombia were watching the antics of Old Firm fans, they would think your country was a big mess.North_Sea_Tiger wrote:Dont think he can get punished because there are no animal cruelty laws in Colombia. Woldnt expect anymore from a shithole country like that. Any person who thinks animal cruelty isnt a big deal needs their fucking head checked

I donnt give a fuck what they think. Scotland isnt a shithole because we at least have basic laws such as animal cruelty laws. I dont think people from shitholes like Colombia, China & Korea (more but I cant be fucked listing them) who dont have basic laws such as animal cruelty, freedom of speach and human rights can sit back and judge other countrys. Certainly not after just watching a game of footballFanatic wrote:What does that make Scotland? Feel a bit sorry for the player.
In a world where animals are kept in small cages, forced to breed, fattened up, then mass slaughtered, it's easy to see birds as not important. I mean there's chickens that have no idea what outside looks like, and nobody gives a fuck.
But because he kicked a pretty owl he's now getting death threats and is forced to apologize.
Where the fuck is Bernard Matthew's apology?

These chickens can't move. They develop problems from being confined in such a small space. In a factory with no real sunlight. That's all they know all their life, that's unbelievable suffering. What happens at the end of that suffering? They get their head cut off
But we have to eat so it's all cool.
We don't eat owls and they look pretty. Not cool.

If a rat was laying there in pain and not doing any harm to any one.. I'd think it's a bit sick.

Oh yeah but the animals that aren't treated fairly have lots of people backing them up and saying it's all horrible, so I don't get where you're coming from?Cornholio wrote:These chickens can't move. everyone would find it "a bit sick" but not to the extent it has been taken to, The guy's getting death threats and is now public enemy number 1. If it was a rat it'd be a shock at first then nothing more, Like I said nobody would even post it on youtube if it were a rat

That all this hype is unnecessary.
There's much more animal suffering going on which 90% of the population fund.
Someone else does it and they have their life threatened.

For a start I doubt many teams have rats as their mascots.LFC_Grunners wrote:everyone would find it "a bit sick" but not to the extent it has been taken to, The guy's getting death threats and is now public enemy number 1. You're never more than 20ft away from a rat.

So that makes them unequal to owls in the Animal Kingdom?

so in a world where nobody gives a fuck, it would be OK to kick an Owl because everybody is a hypocrite when it comes to animal cruelty?

I assumed you were implying that the only way a rat would be in the stadium would be if it was a mascot.

I wasn't really implying that at all. It's bad enough as it is that he kicked an owl, but the owl happened to be a team mascot, so it was worse.Cornholio wrote:SBSP_FIFA wrote:What does that have to do with anything?Cornholio wrote:SBSP_FIFA wrote:For a start I doubt many teams have rats as their mascots.LFC_Grunners wrote:everyone would find it "a bit sick" but not to the extent it has been taken to, The guy's getting death threats and is now public enemy number 1. It would purely be for justice for the poor chickens who are treated like shit in this life while owls get a free ride.

No it's not. Giving an animal a man-made title does not make it any better than other animals.
