In junior football they happen all the time, mostly because the Goalie is too small and cant cover the goal area. And they also happen in Sunday-football matches because the standard and defensive organisation isn't too good. But once you get into any pro level (or even elite-level youth/Reserves) these types of goal become incredibly rare.

Probably about 10 years ago now, Rangers v Aberdeen at Ibrox. Game finished 2-0 to Rangers. McCann scored straight from a corner for the first goal, a really good goal I seem to remember, although I was like 10 at the time. I was stunned at such a thing happening at a real game. I;d never even imagined it a possibility.
No videos as Youtube and camera phones weren't invented at the time lol.
