Have called off our game against them for the 2nd time. Temperatures plunged to -6 overnight and a bit of the pitch in-front of the away end froze over. It was expected to warm up throughout the day though so the referee did a pitch inspection at 10:45 and then another at 11:45 and called the game off. A Scunthorpe fan on another forum said the sun is shining down their and it's getting warmer. Shit ground, shit facilities.

You're a joke.
If it's anyones fault it's the ref for calling it off.

We play them next weekend.

Re: Scunthorpe United - A Joke Club
They apparently turned down the use of gas burners to heat the pitch up because it'd cost too much tinpot club.

Re: Scunthorpe United - A Joke Club
I'm still pissed off they poured water on an already frozen pitch as well! Seems like they've got injuries to some of their best players too so maybe it was planned...

Well, if you were so desperate to play, why didn't you help them out seeing as they obviously can't afford it? Twats.
