Hulk's not regularly the main striker is he? Same with Lavezzi...

I'm not to sure about Hulk, even though I try and wish to, I have failed at watching much of Porto this or last season.
Lavezzi plays alongside Cavani, your right.

Falcao would be the leading striker(by leading I mean more advanced) surely?

How about Bryan Ruiz?
It'd be incredibly interestingly awesome if you got both Suarez and Ruiz.

Yep. Even if he stays I'll never see him how I used to.
Today's been one hell of a drama.

Vagnar Love wouldn't get a work permit, would he?

He would if we bought him, Fergie pays the refs. :troll:(polskaGOLA) wrote:Vagnar Love wouldn't get a work permit, would he?

Fergie doesn't pay British Government Officials however. :troll:kyro7 wrote:He would if we bought him, Fergie pays the refs.(polskaGOLA) wrote:Vagnar Love wouldn't get a work permit, would he?

I have an extremely hard time imagining Llorente leaving Bilbao. Maybe he would go to England, but even if he would, Bilbao wouldn't want to sell him, seeing as they practically depend on him.dena wrote:Get Llorente.
Plus there would be nobody to replace him as well.

If Torres leaves and Suarez joins, all Liverpool need is Forlan.
Seriously, Falcao would make the perfect replacement, he finished anything in the air. Or maybe go for Milito now Pazzo has joined Inter?

Milito will cost too much considering the amount of years he has left in him.
I'd rather get a decent finisher. Suarez can create, he can put 'em away. Someone like Llorente or Benzema.

I suggested Milito in the first page. He'd be a temporary replacement until Liverpool come across someone else due to his age I would imagine.
How much would Milito cost you think?
Also Falcao as Jamie pointed out would be another interesting option, however I haven't seen much of him to be frank.

Pool fans - if you go to a job and its not what it says on the tin plus everyones workload is coming on you and a better job offer is available.. surely you take it?

Falcao would score anything put in the box for him, he's underrated...very underrated.
Milito for 20m would have been more if not age and Pazzo signing, this guy was awarded THE best player in one of the toughest leagues to get goals in, I think he'd run riot in Premier League to be honest. He schools defenders too easily.
Benzema and Llorente are well out of Liverpool range.

Ok fuck the analogy. But he came to Liverpool to win things. He hasn't won a thing and won't win anything anytime soon. He's gave a shitload to try and make it happen but its not.El_indian wrote:The-Reporter wrote:Pool fans - if you go to a job and its not what it says on the tin plus everyones workload is coming on you and a better job offer is available.. surely you take it?

Isit unfair for him to go elsewhere and try?

Falcao has a very good scoring record in the champions league and portuguese league but I don't think he's that good really, when i've seen him he looks a lot like Tevez with less strength and less clinical finishing ability
Right..

No, but it is unfair to hand in a request this late especially to our rivals.

From a neutral point of view no, its not unfair - although he does have a contract.
from an emotional/fans point of view it is hugely unfair - we rely on this guy heavily - we worship him....he has a unique bond with Liverpool fans.
If he wants to go then go in the summer, don't come out with this shit now, and for fucks sake the least he can do is not go to Chelsea.

League rivals, scum of a club. Whatever. Could've understood if he went to a club on the way up or at the top but Chelsea are on the way down.

From just a business standpoint, it is extremely unprofessional to make a transfer request this late and right after we make a huge signing in Luis Suarez to play alongside him. What makes matters worse are his statements of commitment to the club earlier this month and the fact that the transfer request is to a team we are currently competing against and play very soon. This entire scenario is very disrespectful to the club and fans.

Llorente has supposedly got lots of interest from other big european clubs so he may be out of reach but Benzema would be a fairly realistic replacement for Torres for Liverpool.
Would still be a step down end of the day though.

If any other club applied he wouldn't have been allowed, it's because we have the great Sir Alex. :troll:
