They could just make it worse if they go all out at him tbh. Doubt Torres would want to put up with their 'shit' any longer.. could be why he wants out afterall.

A goal's a goal. No matter who scores it, we will still celebrate.

He will be stupid to go to Chelsea. Yes they can give him extra money, maybe extra trophies, but not the same bond with the fans.
Time will tell when he misses a one on one, when the Chelsea fans calling him shit, and a waste of money. When he goes three games without scoring, he will be slatted more than he is getting paid.
He had a special bond with us, we loved him. We have adpoted him as one off us. Even when he was playing shit, we sang his name, never slatted him. Then to do this, three days to go in the January transfer window is classless. Especial to Chelsea.

Fucking hell. Yeah, like they'll have a go at him. Jesus luke.
'We need to persuade Nando to stay Stevie.'
'Alright Carra, let's fucking smash into him for wanting to leave.'

'Well in Kenny'.

Feels exactly the way it did when Stevie was off there, look what happened. His head was turned, he was confused and bit at the first offer. He talked to the team, thought about it and eventually came to the right decision. Somewhere along the line, Nando's been led on, don't know by who, but it's probably one of them agent types. He's fed into him a vision of a better life at Chelsea and Nando's fell for it. I still believe he'll see sense and we'll put this whole thing behind us and resume the challenge of getting back up towards the title with Nando in our side.

True, but if he really wants to leave I don't think he'll turn back now. At least it'll take something big to get him to turn around.
Suarez @ Anfield for medical.

No, I know about Gerrard. But did he hand in a Transfer request? I've gone blank.

And a lot off the fans have not forgiven him for that.

Yes. It's panned out exactly how it did with Stevie. And if we managed to convince a Liverpool supporting, club captain, to remain at the club, I've got the belief that we can convince Nando.

I dunno, I have a feeling he was willing to stay on, but Rafa getting sacked definitely hurt him. Hurt a lot of the squad as well. Only one man to blame for that though.

Torres could have left a while ago remember. When it looked like we were up shit creek, he stayed. Means nothing at the moment of course though.

The one thing that really fucks me off though is the fact he's been sulking around for 18 months. If he had still been banging them in and then decided to leave fair enough i suppose.
Anyone might not be all bad, Valencia sold villa and silva and now there better off for it.

-Didn't inform the club he wanted to leave at the beginning of the transfer market
-Elects to choose an English club who are a manufactured shit of a club
- Hands in a transfer request, unlike his former team mates who handled it in a classy and disciplined manner.
- Goes back on his word ( "Would honour contract" my arse)
Epitomises the modern days footballers way of thinking.
Saying all this, deep, deep down, I still believe he will stay to the end of this season and hopefully we can show him the light.
I really don't know what to think.

If he does depart for Chelsea, good luck I say.
Good luck keeping Terry away from Olalla. You're gonna have a job to do there, my friend.

He has a point. Look how long it took them to get the Suarez deal done. In the end we paid exactly what they wanted in the first place pretty much.
