Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
As I've said, it's time to get fuckin' tough now, sell him the summer when we can get a replacement, don't even contimplate selling him now as we haven't got time to find a replacment, let him rot in the reserves for the next 6 months, thats what I'd do. And untill we get a decent offer, don't sell, simple as, he's under contract so there is nothing he can do.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Was the request done before the deal was reached for Suarez?
I could see how Torres thought we'd just be pussyfooting around in the market and not sign anyone.

I'd like to make a formal apology to all the people I argued with about Torres' loyalty to the club. You were right, no footballer can be trusted.
Except Pepe Reina
Apology accepted.
Now for all the others :troll:

Same with Stevie then? He did it after all.
You know my thoughts on Gerrard. I appreciate him as a player but have no respect for him as a person or captain.
I know, and I know you'd rather have a team with Stevie in it than without. Same with Fernando.

I guess. Right now I'm not thinking straight but honestly if we got a replacement lined up I would tell Torres to fuck off to his plastic club.

If he wants to go let him, we need a team who'll play for Liverpool regardless of the situation.

The only problem for me is the fact that he'll be going to another team in the league.

What a scumbag of a "supporter" you are. Gerrard has done everything for Liverpool, you can say goodbye to your 2006 fa cup and 2005 champions league and your League run in 2008 if it wasn't for him.Jamie wrote:Dan wrote:Jamie wrote:He can fuck off in the summer imo Dan. Although Fabregas never put in a transfer request.

Fuck off lad, how can it possibly be a good reason why he wants to quit LFC for fucking Chelsea?
Whats there left to hear mate? He's handed ina written transfer request, even Fabregas didn't stoop that low, EVEN Mascherano didn't, a written transfer request is as BAD as it gets, he's broke bridges that'll never be repaired now, how can he come back from this? He can he ever get his relationship back with the fans?
What about his team mates? How do his team mates feel about it? I'm sure the likes of Pepe, Stevie and so on are really happy with him.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I can not believe this is happening! I mean seriously, what the fuck is happening to our club? There is always a saga of some sort going on ON a day when we should be celebrating about signing an excellent player, our current best striker and star player goes and fucks us over by handing in a written transfer request a few days before the window closes and further to that he wants to go the plastic club that is Chelsea.
I actually thought Torres was one of the few players with integrity and loyalty an I did admittedly like Scott and Jamie we stuck our neck on the line for him, but it seems not. Torres, your fine reputation has just been destroyed and it is now irrepairable for me.

Except that Suarez is not a striker, but an inside forward. (from the wing)The-Reporter wrote:If he is leaving do you really believe that? I think it was at the very least decent of him to wait til you agreed the deal for Suarez. It like he wouldn't consider leaving until Liverpool had a deal for a new striker sorted.Jamie wrote:Scouser_Dave wrote:Don't know what's worse keeping Torres' with him wanting to play for Chelsea or selling him to them.
Same here. Will feel sick watching him play for us from now on if he does stay, but he's left us with no time for a replacement.

Suarez had nothing to do with Torres, he wasn't bought as a replacement.
What
im saying is Torres only handed in a transfer request after the Suarez
deal was done. So it seems like he didn't want to do it until he knew
the club would have another player to rely on if you get what i
mean?
The major reason Suarez succeeded last season and did shit-all this season is because of Pantelic. The striker who played infront of him. Pantelic left last summer. Torres+Suarez would've been fantastic. N'Gog+Suarez will be shit. He won't do much better than at Ajax this season I would imagine.
TBH if Torres were to actually leave, If I were Suarez, i'd call the transfer off.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Right, sorry for all my shambles earlier, I've realised I may have unintentionally offended some people here, but as you were mourning about Torres, as a Chelsea fan, I was having a great time, surely that's understandable for you lot? Being a fan has ups and downs, this is an up for Chelsea, a down for Liverpool, sorry for taking advantage of that. I hope you accept my apology and we can all get along, because I don't want to have to suffer abuse every 5 minutes when I post on these forums, we're a community, not several members at war with eachother.
Anyway, What I also wanted to say was, Will Torres now be forced out of Liverpool, with the club saying that he won't be sold but with the fans saying his reputation is irreparable?

What more needs to be said Scott, prove is in the pudding mate, he wants out ASAP, he doesn't want to wear the red shirt anymore, he's a liar, a rat, fucking Chelsea? You've gorra be kidding me.
Real Madrid, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Barcelona I'd understand, but Chelsea AND writing a transfer request on the 28th, just a few days before the window shuts meaning we cannot get in a replacement? He's a cunt.

What do you think will be going through Torres' mind if we were to somehow go on some sort of winning run, whilst playing great football?

So did Gerrard, Fabregas, Tevez and Rooney.
