To be fair we had more then 2 chances, maybe not clear cut, but they can still go down as chances.Danny wrote:Exactly, killing a game off is usually looking for a 2nd/3rd goal to secure the points. We had to score to kill United off, if we scored with 10 men, your heads would have most likely dropped.

They were in control most of the fucking game. Take the tinted glasses off Kyro, they don't suit you.
1-0 up, hardly any time on the clock, a poor united side with 10 men against a determined Spurs attack. I'd say it was killing a game off.
Stop being a grade A cunt Kyro. Really am surprised you're acting like this.

How the fuck do you know, you had two options, you rally around and try to score, or your heads drop, I went with the one I believed would have happened.

Kyro's a right, scoring an opening goal, whatever stage in the game, isn't killing it off
Unless you've won it with the last kick

I'm not denying Spurs were the better side.. we had 10 men etc, but killing a game off is when you've already got it and you're just finishing it off..blackskar wrote:kyro7 wrote:How can you kill a game off when it was 0-0?blackskar wrote:kyro7 wrote:Mate, you had nothing to kill off.GK01 wrote:

You don't kill Manchester United off at 1-0. You'd never know when we'd strike. We almost won it in the end too.

I'll agree that it wasn't a second yellow, but at the same time we should've had a penalty for Vidic having a chunk of Van Der Vaart's shirt. I know you're angry about the ref, but remember all the decisions that have gone your way against us up at Old Trafford. I'm not saying that justifies the sending off, but luck swung our way in that respect today with the red card for Rafael. Only thing I'm annoyed about really is Palacios deciding to shoot instead of passing and if there is one thing he does worse than passing.. it's shooting!

Don't care how long you've been watching them, it's how they react in that moment in time.

Re: Tottenham V Man United
How can you kill a game off by going one goal ahead? Makes no sense unless it's the dying seconds and even then it wouldn't be called killing it off.

I agree that was a penalty, in fairness to the reffere (can't believe I said that) He didn't have the best of views because VdV was on the turn.easley91 wrote:I'll agree that it wasn't a second yellow, but at the same time we should've had a penalty for Vidic having a chunk of Van Der Vaart's shirt. Sam, you're not a cunt. You're my baby. My abnormally tall baby, but still.
All you other guys need to go pipe down, smoke a cigarette, go smash a ball around, have a furious wank, I don't care. But throwing insults around at eachother won't help.
Psychologist ftw
