I reckon if Spurs had a decent striker up top they would have been about 4-0 up at half time, totally played United off the park first half, i was shocked. Obviously the class of the United defence was too much for them in the end, i couldn't believe how much United sat back though, Spurs looked dodgy against counters.

Also i think Rooney has been training with Gibson too much, takes alot of shots from distance instead of playing them killer balls these days.

Overall great performance by Stratford.. i mean Tottenham. Thanks for holding them you bastards.

Thought Rooney was alright, he was our only threat all game, forced the keeper into two good saves.

Can't believe some of the pundits said Rooney was 'trying too hard'. He played well, made a few sloppy passes but he should start to find the back of the net more often soon.

Yeah, considering our whole team didn't play that well, he stood out as our main player imo.. when he was striker that is, then he got dragged out to the right.

Horrible Decision by SAF to move him out wide. He's nowhere near as effective there as in the middle
