Why do Championship and below play Saturday then Monday

But Premier League play Saturday then Tuesday or Saturday then Wednesday.

Bit unfair considering PL should be the ones who can cope with 2 games in 3 days.

Probably for TV purpose, not sure.

Now they have 2 games for the Championship on today, Fulham v West Brom tomorrow, and Arsenal v City on Wednesday.

Oh well, less rest time for PL teams before the FA Cup

Today is a bank holiday though. Surely if they had PL games on today as well they would just do something similar to the other day when they had 3 or 4 games on?

Good point, Wigan don't play till Wednesday. Meaning they'll hopefully put a reserve team out for Saturday and we go for it.

It is a bit weird, wont be much difference fitness wise I don't reckon, Arsenal and City have it the best, both played on Saturday now on Wednesday v each other but I don't mind because they're both in the same boat.
