Undeserved by Spurs, yes they threatend but never really came close to scoring, then we gift wrap them three goals.

Ward, well done on blocking keanes shot but what were you thinking when you dived in? Oh yeah I forgot we never bought you to play LB!

Then the lucky have a shot and watch it land to their striker who puts it in the net with minimal effort.

Stearman you was having such a good game, then you went and thought this is not what I do and gave them the third goal on a plate.

I love you wolves but you are really killing me slowly.

yeah we were a little hard done by, but we done it to ourselves! in stearmans defence, it has been reported that if we were not losing he would have "got rid" but expected Hanners to claim the ball and start an attack!

we need some points from our next 3 games. 6 points would be great, 5 even! any less and we put ourselves under real pressure.

I hate to say mate but maybe some justice was served after last season's fixture between the 2 teams at WHL. I still can't believed wolves got 3 points in that game, let alone 1 point they woulda been happy with! I remember spurs were playing unreal and I think your keeper (Hennessy?) was going bannanas.

With the way Karl Henry is playing at the moment an Aston Villa player will probably die. Neutral

Apparently Lee Hughes was partly to blame as he had Boing Boing written on his shirt when he scored.

I don't believe real wolves fans would do that, by the time the coaches set off they were no where near the molineux but in horsley fields. I expect it was chavvy kids who went to the game because it was only £12. You get all the scum coming out for the cheap games because they can actually afford it on their job seekers allowance.

It was also stated on mad forum by a notts county fan that the people who did this were not wearing wolves colours.

Post by Metal Wolf Mon Sep 27, 2010 7:00 am

Just got back from the game after going to my cousins birthday which had an open bar (thank fook) and there are four main points I would like to make.

Firstly I do not wish to have a go at mick, he trains the lads daily and can see what they do etc but how on earth did Edwards get a head of Guedioura and milijas I don't know. He was poor through out the game and even ran it out of play twice. I am sorry but I would rather have foley in the middle with stearman at RB (YES STEARMAN). Or we really need to go all out in january and get a decent, proven centre mid.

Secondly we are really badly missing some creative flair, from my view in the steve bull upper we had four good chances to let fletch and doyle get behind villa's backline even when they are waving their arms and pointing to where they want it our midfield do not get their heads up and look, but play it to the side and then back with the eventual hoof ball. I could actually see the frustration on fletchs face when they didn't play the ball to him.

Thirdly we are so bad at keeping the ball, we either pass it away or run it into trouble. I know we had good spells with the ball during the game but didn't do much with it as our goal was a complete fluke. We just did not know what to do with the ball when we get it into the final third, it is all chip and cross it into the box and hope it lands to one of our players.

And lastly but not least crosses and set pieces are the achilles heel of wolves. We cannot defend them, the wolves players lose their man and keep getting out muscled for the ball in the air when we do. Also we invite the crosses in to much when we are not closing the opposition down fast enough. I was shouting for stearman to close young down to stop the cross followed by noooooooooooooo when I saw the ball floating towards Heskeys head which was unchallened and unmarked for a free header.

Guedioura please don't be out for to long, we really need you. Even though mick only gives you ten minutes. I also belive Henry has completlely changed from the hard but fair challenges to the lets just put a foot in and see if I can win it mentality, it is probaly the fear of being sent of because referee's are keeping an eye on him after being branded a thug.

If we can sort these little problems out we would be fine and dandy as a mid table club in the league.

    Mick sort it out please.

so you're clearly basing your opinion on what has been lazily reported in the press. but forming an opinion without seeing any footage for yourself.

Im not saying this because i hate Villa as i also dislike the Old Gold & Black brigade but you lot really didnt deserve to lose that game on Sunday, i watched with my dad & we couldnt believe how Villa rely on their counter attack all game. I knew, like our game against them, that they were going to rob you of points because that's all they seem to do to teams they play eg Everton.

Likewise, only 'top' team we have played is Liverpool at our place. The rest have been the Boltons, Wigans etc

Loved the game against Man City, thought our good play was going to be unjustfied but the lads kept their heads up and managed to win the game.

Matt Jarvis is in the form of his life right now. You'd better watch if he keeps this up big teams might come in for him at the end of the season.

woop woop. been quiet on the Wolves thread, hopefully if you're anything like me you dont see the point in negative posts and thats why its been slow on here!

like my mum always said, " if you cant say anything nice, then dont say anything at all"

we have been far better than our league position suggests.
