Had to go to a Christening last week, not usually one for stepping in Churches for a service, it's not my thing, I wouldn't enter a Mosque or any other religious place because I feel I wouldn't belong. But, I found it quite ironic - as we arrived early and sat at the back of some other service - that the priest/vicar was talking about greed and how bad it is etc, when he was surrounded by gold and jewells and the sort in this one little room. Then, he took the collection plate out. I was tempted to say, 'Hey mate, if it's a sin to be greedy, you better get rid of these gold things in here then.'
But, I didn't. Out of respect. Christening was alright, priest/vicar lectured us about something for about 10 mins, did the cross thing then we went to some place for cake. In all, wasn't bad. But I still don't believe in God.
Cake was good though.
