Post by Scuba Steve Wed Dec 22, 2010 1:20 am

This is from a Greek poster on BS, regarding Adu.

The General Director of Aris is talking on the radio now and he commented on the Adu case.

He said that Cuper believed in him alot at first. But then showed very unprofessional behaviour off the pitch. He was not as disciplined as Cuper wanted and he gave him many chances but Adu didn't seem to care at all. He kept going to night clubs until the early morning, coming late to practice and more things that our general director didn't want to comment.

Cuper saw that Adu isn't changing so it was no point keeping such a unserious player and person. Then there were also tactical/technical reasons that he was not in the plans of the coach.

Now our legal department is handling his case.

That that as you will. But that is surely more proof that Adu is just out of his depths. Not deserving of this thread.

    Good one.

As for Adu, said it for.. probably months now. Don't want to know about him, don't care. The US U-23 talent pool is exciting right now, no use in tracking him anymore imo.

GOALKEEPERS: Dominic Cervi (Celtic), Sean Johnson (Chicago Fire), Matt Pickens (Colorado Rapids), Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake)

DEFENDERS: A.J. DeLaGarza (Los Angeles Galaxy), Sean Franklin (Los Angeles Galaxy), Omar Gonzalez (Los Angeles Galaxy), Ugo Ihemelu (FC Dallas), Zach Loyd (FC Dallas), Ryan Miller (Halmstads BK), Tim Ream (New York Red Bulls), Anthony Wallace (Colorado Rapids), Marvell Wynne (Colorado Rapids)

MIDFIELDERS: Eric Alexander (FC Dallas), Alejandro Bedoya (Örebro), Sam Cronin (San Jose Earthquakes), Mikkel Diskerud (Stabaek), Jeff Larentowicz (Colorado Rapids), Dax McCarty (D.C. United), Brek Shea (FC Dallas)

FORWARDS: Juan Agudelo (New York Red Bulls), Justin Braun (Chivas USA), Teal Bunbury (Sporting Kansas City), Chris Wondolowski (San Jose Earthquakes)

Winter camp roster, sexual. No Convey, Heath, or Cameron is a surprise though. Agudelo is the leading US scorer in the roster Laughing

Opara declined a call up to recover from injury.

Wow. I think he has a Trini passport, some dude said it was possible to bypass a permit because Trinidad is part of the commonwealth, I guess that's wrong then?

No, not necessarily. That wouldn't be a way of bypassing a permit, it would just be an easier way of getting one. So that might not be wrong. Still need a work permit, but Trinis might get it easier.

I thought he was exceptional, Bale didn't even make an impact until he switched to the right.

Yeah let's hope he gets a chance, and scores a couple of goals. Otherwise, he won't make it there, methinks.
