And Montero came off the bench for Ruben, so no Jozy today.

    *EDIT

I am the perfect tonic. He just came on for Rossi.

I assume Buddle won't be going to B'ham since Keane is headed there. And dunno about Cummings, but I don't want him to go there now because of Houllier.

I wanna see them in the Premier League though just to see how they'd fare.

I think Buddle would be good at Brum he's the clinical finisher they need.

I think Cummings will do well, because he has the pace for the league. Not sure how Buddle would fare though.

True Cummings is strong and quick which is good for the PL.

How have no teams came in for Freddy Montero though.

He just signed an extension in Seattle for DP money... so it will probably be 2 years until he is ready to go.

It's odd, on one hand I want players to move from MLS to Europe to prove there's talent in the league, but on the other you don't want the league to lose it's best players

Yeah, but while the league lags behind the rest of the world, the best players will want to go abroad.

It's a double edged sword, Personally I would prefer them to stay in the league, could care less about what the rest of the world thinks I would rather people in America get to watch more talented players here.

So if Kenny Millere --> Birmingham, then Edson Buddle --> Rangers

    Proof

Also, Gooch is headed to Twente on loan.

Robbie Findley has had his appeal for work permit go through, so he will be joining Nottingham Forest.

I also petition for this forum to be moved back. No one comes in here anymore.

Apparently Buddle was being paid $188k by MLS, they offered to double it. But this German side is paying $800k. Can't hate.

Man, MLS players get paid peanuts, I mean, I'd suck another nigga's dick for 200 thou a week but that's cause I'm talentless(so is Buddle but that's beyond the point) MLS should be able to keep their players from going to a league that is not substantially superior. Neutral

Yeah, it's why every other year (it seems) a really good MLS player goes to somewhere like Scandivaia or Bundesliga 2 and you're like whaaaaat? Buddle is like... 29+ though I think so doubt LA would give him a DP contract.

    Edu scored on his return.

I'm hype for tomorrow's game, don't even want to see Wondo. Bunbury, Agudelo, Diskerud, Bedoya, Gonzalez, Ream, Do it. Do it now.

FT: 1-1, not the best match, but hey we didn't lose. Neutral

GKs: Neither Rimando or Johnson had much to do, hard to give them ratings at all, Rimando had a bit more work, but nothing to serious.

Loyd, was ok, obviously LB isnt his natural position but he showed well.
Wallace, not to much to judge him on, wasnt tested.
Franklin, rough first half, got better in the second, no real attacking threat, Lichaj still safe there.
Ream, good defensively, passing was off though. [
Gonzalez, again, good defensively, bit shaky and his passing is.. ugh. Onyewu 2.0.,
McCarty, probably the most consistent player, nothing outstanding, but made good forward passes, worked hard, defended, blah blah blah.
Larentowicz, not international quality, slow, boring, can't pass. Ginger.
Bedoya, non-existent, havent seen him put in a decent US performance since Holland, don't know what's up with him.
Diskerud, nice touches, would like to see him with the A team, or at least the B team to see how he does with better players.
Shea, decent first 10 minutes, terrible after that. Another struggle in his short international career.
Wondo, decent beginning, faded, another one who I have no hope for, just a roster filler.
Wynne, poor positing, good recovery speed, but wouldnt needed to use it as much if he good position himself.
Agudelo/Bunbury, both very good, why didn't they start??? I know bob wants to slow down the hype machine... but this is Chile, on a non-FIFA date, in front of 13,000 people, not even on English speaking TV. Come on dude.

18,000 were at the game, Dena. Hater. And I heard Agudelo and Bunbury were baller. I even said before the Burnbury goal that he would be useful for our national team (Sorry, Canada!). Looks like I just might be right, for once! Smile
