Maurice Edu decided he didn't want to end his stay in European football this season, so he scored in the second minute of stoppage time to send Rangers through over Sporting Portugal.

Grella should have tried it here first before going overseas. He'll never get a look with the national team.

He's a good player but now we have plenty of players better than him. He is only one of two good players that hasn't been given a good chance under Grayson.

Roma is apparently looking to purchase an American player or two with their new owner or whatever. Names that Seltzer has come up with are Donovan, Bradley, Chandler, Agudelo, Kljestan, and Guzan.

Can't see Donovan happening, at least during the season. Don't think Bradley makes too much sense. Chandler and Agudelo might, but I don't think Kljestan or Guzan are good enough.

If he really wants to make a statement Agudelo or Donovan are the best options, Donovans the most high profile US player and Agudelo's the big up and coming star

Agudelo can't be Adu because he's actually a young, talented, player.

It's up in the air whether or not Agudelo could make it in the serie a , but it can only help him and our NT to go to such a big team/league. Would love to see Bradley in Italy he would wreck

Right, need you Yankie-doodles/Mexicans to help.

We were linked with some American lad in January, can't remember his name though. He played at some level for New England, is a striker and I think was called James DeCommarie or something like that.

So, does he actually exist?. Neutral

My theory is that these names are too foreign sounding. The American Messi needs to be named John Johnson or some shit like that. Neutral
