Of course a player like Puyol wouldn't be dropped if Ronaldo joins, because they don't play anywhere near the same position. Pedro would be on top of that list, because it's either Pedro or Messi. No other player would be in consideration.
That's where you're not in the spirit of my theory though.
If Guardiola wanted to of course Puyol could be dropped.
Valdez
Alves Pique Abidal
Pedro Xavi Busquets Iniesta
Ronaldo Villa Messi
....that is possible......I'm not saying it would happen as Puyol wouldn't be dropped but you can't seriously say that Barcelona and Guardiola would not play any other formation than 4-3-3 to get Ronaldo into the team...? I think the fact that Pedro is the only viable replacement for Ronaldo sums up my point that Pedro is a fringe player in the Barcelona XI. If he wasn't the obvious fall guy then Guardiola might think about changing formation...but he doesn't have to as swapping Pedro for Ronaldo is a perfect straight swap.SBSP_FIFA wrote:Julio Cesar, Pepe Reina, Rene Adler, Manuel Neuer, Petr Cech...
Wtf.....I mean in the Barcelona XI.
You're hardly going to take Messi off and put Casillas on are you? That would be stupid.....
Again showing your ignorance of Barcelona.
Jesus christ just give up, Barcelona play 4-3-3. They have played that ever since Cruyff became manager back in like 1990. They will continue to use it as their primary formation while he has a say in the club.
