Super-sub Jimmy Bullard bagged a stoppage-time winner as Hull heaped more misery on managerless Sheffield United with a 3-2 Boxing Day win.

Bullard did barely anything when he came on. All he did was scored a tap in.
Cameron Stewart and Mannone won that game for us. Stewart with the assist for the 1st and 3rd goal. But Mannone, oh man he is good. 2-2, last minutes of the game.. Sheff Utd have a corner, Mannone clears, rolls it out so quick not settling for a draw. Stewart takes on the guy with ease, takes a shot, keeper keeps it out, Bullard taps in.
Mental. I'm pretty sure the lower tier was too full, there was way too many people in and it was all for tight. Some people where complaining about getting squashed during the game. Think the stewards made some sort of cock up because they told me and my mates to go through turnstiles that werent even on our ticket. It seems they have done the same with alot of others which made it too full.

JAMES Harper has told his Hull City team-mates to forget about aiming for the Championship play-offs – and switch their focus to automatic promotion.
The midfielder's ambitious target comes after the Tigers stretched their unbeaten run to eight games with a 1-1 draw against Reading.
While City continue to reside in the bottom half of the Championship at the season's halfway mark, the recent revival has lifted them to within four points of the top six.
A further six points separate the Tigers from second-placed Cardiff but Harper has not given up hope of gate-crashing the promotion race.
"This is the business end now," he told the Mail. "This is the time of the season where you get judged.
"We haven't lost too much ground, we're still in there, so let's crack on and have a good go at it.
"We're aiming for the top two, that's all I'm aiming for.
"You could say the play-offs but you've got to go for the number one spot. If you get in the play-offs after that then great but why not aim for the top two?
"It's not impossible. I've done it before with Reading and I know what it takes."

Already know. Mannone is injured for 4-6 weeks. We are still trying to get him on loan for the rest of the season though.

Mclean and Fryatt in Kilbane out not bad

I know. Gardner is coming back from his loan at Palace so he should provide cover for centre back. We could do with a left back in the same mould as Rosenior now. I'm sure there will be a couple at top clubs willing to come on loan.

Don't see why you're still after Austin considering you've already bought 2 strikers this window.

We can confirm that the Club signed Cameron Stewart for £300,000 at 4pm from Manchester United on a three-year contract.
The Club's bid for Corry Evans was rejected by Manchester United.
That concluded all transfer business for this window. The Club had no
other interest in any further signings in or out and did not make or
receive any enquiries for any other players.

You are awful at defending set pieces, we could of scored at least 3 goals from them if it wasn't for your keeper.

I wish Grayson would address that, been crystal clear since day 1. Sounds like we were very lucky to escape with a draw.

Frustrating.
3 of the teams above us scored winners in the last 5 minutes.
Happy with our 3 points though, keep our good form going.
