If anything it was Clyne and Giroud's inability to hold the ball up that kept Sanchez quiet. That and the fact that he wasn't even fully fit but yeah lets just say it was Gomez because he shielded the ball from him.Scott_LFC wrote:
I did watch the game. Sanchez had absolutely no joy down the right. Gomez had his number, keys, wallet, home address, wife and car.
2 or 3 times lmao come back with a player touch map for Sanchez in that game and then we'll talk.

If Bournemouth's goal against Liverpool stood, who's to say we wouldn't have gone on to win the game 2-1?
If our goal against them was ruled out for offside, who's to say we wouldn't have scored another goal later on?
If Arsenal's goal stood against us, who's to say we wouldn't have scored afterwards?
It's the butterfly effect. If those decisions didn't happen, the entire course of the game would have changed.
You can't say for sure how the game would have panned out had certain things happened/not happened.
All we can do is look at the points on the board
Edit: Oh, and there's nothing illegitimate about our point against Arsenal. Ramsey was offside and we had 2 clear penalties turned down

Scott is trying to get all this in now because he knows it's likely going to go downhill very soon. How else do you explain someone acting like this 3 games into a new season

Re: 2015/16 Premier League
I'll ignore the rest of your trolling but, I'm not elevating an unbeaten season over a champions league win, I am elevating an unbeaten season over Liverpool's champions league as it's tainted by Liverpool's cheating. I have respect for Manchester United's triumphs and I even have respect for Chelsea's (as sick as I felt at the time) but not Liverpool's. You'll get found out for rigging it in the future, just like the Debrecen game from 2009.Scott_LFC wrote:Ah, the famous "Invincibles".
Except they actually lost about 7 times in all competitions that season.
The memory of winning a Champion's League Final is always going to trump a League win, hands down
I don't begrudge you of trying to elevate the "unbeaten" season over a Champion's League win, though. Because you don't know any better.
Maybe one day you'll win it and then you'll realise just how much better of an experience it is

It's flattering that you think we were powerful enough to rig an entire CL competition
Hopefully a poor fisherman will come along soon and pull you out of the river De Nile. You appear to be drowning.

Not an entire competition, just a couple of referees, scousers have a strong record for death threats too.
That comment was almost Alan-like.

Newcastle are playing an excellent UFC match against Arsenal.

Arsenal scored a goal in which they knocked the ball out of play in the build up. Should have been a Newcastle throw-in.
Let's see Arsenal fans cry about that one
Balances itself out.

Unreal banter from us to let the others back into the contest. Shame Chelsea couldn't capitalise.

Yeah but he definitely didn't think that we would top them this quickly he was probably thinking he could get them in over the next 2 or 3 weeks.
It's unfortunate for Scott that he supports a team that let's him down so often, imagine he was like this and supported a team like United, Chelsea or City he would be unbearable.

Was going to add that one at the end. He probably thought this would keep going during the international break at least
It's his own fault for not learning. I thought Balotelli last season would be the nail in his coffin.

I thought the Kenny Failglish 2011 catastrophe would've taught most Liverpool fans but they still didn't learn from that.

Re: 2015/16 Premier League
Refreshing to see the better footballing team win. When Swansea went behind, they responded by bringing on Ki and ended up scoring two beautiful goals from passing moves. When Manchester United went behind, their response was to send on Young and then Fellaini and hope that a few longballs would do the trick. Fantastic advert for the Premier League.

Been busier, been on the FIFA forum more than this and also there was a massive 2 week wait for the next game. Trust me, I'll be posting in the build up to the United game.

It's not as bad as I thought it was. I didn't think I'd grow to like the layout but it's decent.

Adding to this, it's also a pain not knowing who the fuck anyone is. I know Tamerlane is Glen. Is that Ward guy Keyser?
Anyone else that I know?
