They'll probably sign a few decent players in January and scrape top 4 now. Mad

Like a ghost, but in a positive way.

But in all seriousness that was a scintillating performance, the way Walcott and Sanchez interplay and with Ozil roaming behind seems like the winning formula at the moment.
That Ozil performance was one of the best I've seen from an Arsenal midfielder, if he stays fit and continues to perform like that then we could definitely win the league. Ozil behind Giroud is such a miss match, hopefully Theo can remain fit until the January window.

Why would you be upset about our finishing in the top 4?  If we were to manage it, it would be at the expense of Chelsea.

It would be better for England's UEFA coefficient if Chelsea finished 4th.

Who cares about the coefficient? If anything, losing another CL-spot will make the race for Champions League even better to watch. It will force the top clubs to sign more quality which will in turn make the Premier League an even better league.

Yeah, he had it and he fucked it up. Mata does often go long periods without doing anything significant, which is why you leave him on for as long as possible so he can produce magical moments or you don't pick him at all.

Glen Miller wrote:I thought Lingard looked bright when he came on.

He ran around a lot, that's it. You could put a dog on the pitch and it would have the same impact.

SBSP wrote:Rooney belongs in the bin

Agreed, it's an embarrassment to me personally how shite he's gone. I'd be considering a new username but since Radamel and Robin turned to shit/left there's nobody I can turn to who's of sufficient quality and would preserve the alliteration. ResurrectionRojo has the Spanish double meaning going for it but he's a horrendous thug of a footballer and apart from being shite ResurrectionRomero would seems like a Living Dead reference.

Yeah that was such an easy chance that hitting the crossbar would constitute a fuck up.

I don't care if he hits the crossbar or hits the moon, if it's our best chance of the game and he misses it he's fucked it up.
