Delph might love playing for England and wants to make sure that he is in a stable setting leading up to the European Championships.  That is the only explanation for his decision that I can think of.

Some people prefer to be a big fish in a small pond. If he moved to City his shitness would be exposed more too, so his reputation would die through lack of play time and exposed shitness. If he'd moved to City I think his career would have followed the path of Scott Sinclair. 

Either way I'm happy; I really do reckon he would have cost us points next season.

Is Pedro actually any good? I've never sat down and worked it out.

Ruthless player. He held his own in the best front 3 of modern football.  No idea how he will be now but if he can still finish well it's a great signing.
